    Первенство Европы день четвертый

    The sport hall “Olympiysk” in Grozny, Russia hosted today (Tuesday, 26/07/2016) for the last day in row the ETU European Taekwondo Championships. European athletes from the weight categories -87kg & +87kg Males and -73kg & +73 Females, participated earlier today in order to reach the medal podium, following an event schedule that was comprised of Preliminaries/ Semi-Finals/ Finals and Awarding Ceremonies.

    The participated countries that succeeded in stepping up to the podium on Competition Day 4 are Russia, Turkey, Greece, Poland and Ukraine.

    The leading country in the general medal standings up to Russia, since it is a holder of 25 medals ( 10 gold medals, 7 silver medals, 8 bronze medals). The second place goes to   Turkey (3 gold medals, 2 silver medals, 6 bronze medals) and the third place goes to  Greece (1 gold medal, 2 silver medals, 6 bronze medals).


    The 1st Female Trophy goes to Russia , with Greece & Turkey to follow. Russia is on the top of the list of the Male Trophy Result, Turkey got 2nd place and Poland got 3rd place.

    2nd place:  Celik Bilgehan (TUR)
    3rd place: Ikaeva Alina (RUS)
    3rd place: Moysidou Maria (GRE)

    FINAL: Kowalczuk Aleksandra (POL) – Muzychka Olga (RUS) 0-1

    1st place: Muzychka Olga (RUS)

    2nd place:  Kowalczuk Aleksandra (POL)
    3rd place: Ntintou Eleni (GRE)
    3rd place: Asma Ayse (TUR)

    Muzychka Olga (RUS): “I am really excited for my succeed and winning the gold medal, I am really happy for this since is my first gold medal in European Championships and it is so important for me. I want to thank all my team and coaches for the support.”

     

    Metalnikov Aleksandr (RUS): “It was a very dramatic match. I am very disappointed, but I can say that my performance is been improved. I keep looking the future and what I can do in order to have better performances through strong preparations.”
